In an IT startup, two people are important: an ideologist, i.e. the one who studies the needs of the audience, comes up with and promotes the idea on the market, and a developer, who brings it to life. These roles can be combined by one person, but this is rare.
Once the product proves viability, technical support and customer service should appear. The first will teach how to work with the product, help in case of failures and errors, and the content writing service second will retain customers so that they do not go to competitors. Customer service can be different: from regular birthday and holiday greetings to organizing webinars and promotional events.
When a company has four pillars – an ideologist, a developer, technical support and customer service – the product becomes fully functional and valuable.
The rest of the specialists can be looked for on the side, because they do not bring added value to the product at the moment. Yes, accounting is important, but it does not affect the operation of the product. The situation is similar with HR, legal and marketing departments.

Any, except for those for which the four whales are responsible. Previously, outsourcing was limited in its capabilities, because there were not so many technologies. Now it can do almost everything - from the usual document management to a website builder or filming a blog on YouTube.
For example, we cooperate with the outsourcing services "Knopka" and "Finansist". We delegated accounting and financial reporting, personnel records management and some legal issues to the first one. The second one replaces some of the functions of the financial director for us: budgeting, planning and forecasting.
IT companies also often outsource the setup of equipment. Yes, full-time IT specialists can do this, but an hour of a good developer's work is expensive, and he solves more complex problems than setting up a laptop. This can be done by a system administrator on the side for a smaller amount.
Or server equipment. You can buy it and maintain it yourself, or you can rent it: then it will not be in the office and the owner will look after it.
PROS AND CONS OF DELEGATION
There are many positive aspects to outsourcing.
Firstly, it is time for the product. You can focus exclusively on it and not delve into non-core tasks.
Secondly, risk minimization. When we sign a contract with an outsourcing company, we give them responsibility. If something goes wrong, we will not be held responsible. Or not only us. The risks are divided or completely transferred to the outsourcing side.
Thirdly, it is available 24/7. Fifteen years ago, all issues were resolved via landline phone and only during business hours.
